LouisianaView has been organizing the Hurricane Season Geospatial Data Mining Workshop in June for the last 24 years. If you wish to participate in the upcoming workshop, email Brent Yantis.

Workshop Description: The purpose of the workshop is to promote geospatial coordination during hurricane season, to identify points of contact, and to share information about data portals and resources. Presentations will cover coordination related to hurricane season preparation, emergency response operations, ongoing recovery efforts, and an overview of the data clearinghouses, applications, and data acquisitions of federal and state agencies which collect and host geospatial data.

Workshop Cost: Free, but registration is required.
