The Southwest Division of the American Association of Geographers (SWAAG) serves as the regional division of the esteemed American Association of Geographers (AAG) exclusively catering to AAG members who reside in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.

The upcoming 2023 SWAAG meeting will take place at the La Posada Hotel in Laredo, Texas, on November 2-3, 2023. It will be hosted by Texas A&M International University. Registration (linked to AAG website) and Competition details will be available by the end of Summer of '23.
