Our guest for this episode is Dr. Courtney Poirier Chicola from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. We start off talking about Jurassic Park, 4-H, and Courtney’s dashed dreams of being a paleontologist. From there, we get into Earth As Art, teaching through art, Pecora 2022, the Rising Waters workshop, NASA Aerokats, teaching Python and GeoAI in ArcGIS, and the evolution of image classification methods and accuracy issues.
