Registration is now open for the 26th Annual Disaster Response/Data Mining Geospatial Workshop, taking place June 5–6, 2025, at the Louisiana Immersive Technologies Enterprise (LITE) Auditorium, 537 Cajundome Blvd., Lafayette, LA.
Hosted by the Regional Application Center (RAC) at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, this annual event has become a cornerstone for professionals in geospatial science, emergency management, and public service. For over two decades, the workshop has united experts and decision-makers to explore the powerful intersection of geospatial data and disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.
Special Focus: 20 Years Since Hurricanes Katrina and Rita
This year’s event will commemorate the 20th anniversary of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita with special presentations reflecting on two decades of progress. Speakers will share compelling stories, imagery, and key takeaways from past efforts, alongside insights from the 2024 storm season.
